Manamboli Estate
India Parchment AB
Ramesh Raja is an important coffee exporter, but one who hasn’t lost his passion for green coffee growing (either Robusta or Arabica).
In the old Manamboli estate, surrounded by the large tea plantations that characterize Anamalis mountains in the Western Ghats chain, in Tamil Nadu state, the coffee grows in the shade of jungle trees up which lush pepper plants climb.
This estate is certified by CSC (Certified Specialty Coffees).
This is an unbelievable Indian Robusta coffee: so clean, so free of defects and even finer then the more famous, but less reliable, Kaapi Royal!
When you open a sealed bag, you can immediately smell a pleasant vanilla aroma. In the cup, it is has no pronounced wooden taste and is neutral but also full-bodied: perfect for use in moderate quantities in espresso blends to increase the life, colour and quantity of the cream.
